Jump Start & Flat Battery Rescue Across the UK

Flat battery in a car park or on your drive? A jump start is usually the quickest job we do all day.

Operator connecting a jump pack to a car battery

What it is

Most no-start calls are a flat or failing battery, and most are solved at the roadside in minutes. We test the battery and the charging system, so you find out whether you had a one-off drain or a battery that is about to leave you stranded again. If it will not hold a charge, we will tell you straight rather than jump it and drive away.

What you get

  • Battery and alternator tested, not just jumped
  • Safe for modern start-stop and EV 12V systems
  • Honest answer on whether the battery is done
  • Recovery if the fault is not the battery

When you need it

Four situationsthis covers

If one of these sounds like your afternoon, this is the right page. If none of them do, ring anyway — we will work it out with you.

  1. Nothing happens when you turn the key

No lights, no click, no dashboard. Nine times out of ten this is the battery, and nine times out of ten it is sorted where the car sits.

  2. It turns over slowly and gives up

The classic dying battery, and the classic cold morning. We will get it going, then tell you whether it will do it again tomorrow.

  3. It keeps going flat

That is usually a failing alternator or a parasitic drain rather than a bad battery. We test the charging system so you stop replacing the wrong part.

  4. You have left the lights on in a car park

The cheapest job we do. Ring, we come, you drive away, and there is no tow involved.

What it costs

One fixed price, agreed on the call

Priced on distance, time of day, whether the vehicle rolls and how accessible it is. No call-out fee and no hourly meter — and if the job turns out different from the description, we ring you before anything changes.

Questions about this job

Will a jump start damage my car's electronics?

Not the way we do it. We use a regulated lithium jump pack rather than clamping onto another running engine, which is where voltage spikes come from. On vehicles with a designated jump point we use that rather than the battery terminals.

Do you sell and fit batteries?

We test on site and will tell you honestly whether the battery is finished. Where we can supply and fit a replacement we will quote it on the call; where the battery is buried under a seat or needs coding to the car, that is a garage job and we will say so.

It is an electric car and it will not wake up.

Electric cars have a conventional 12V battery running the locks, screens and contactors, and when it dies the car looks completely dead. We can boost that 12V system safely. The high-voltage traction battery is a different matter — if that is flat, the car needs recovering to a charger.

Why test it if you can just start it?

Because a jump start on a battery that will not hold charge is a twenty-minute reprieve, not a fix. You would rather know in a car park than find out on a slip road.
